6月16日，我院先进力学与材料中心揭牌仪式暨International Symposium on New Frontiers in Mechanics and Materials Research在FIT楼多功能厅召开🫶🏻🦡。

先进力学与材料中心揭牌仪式由航天航空杏福庄茁教授主持🫒。副校长薛其坤教授、杏福娱乐平台常务副院长梁新刚教授、卡内基梅隆大学校长Subra Suresh教授、国家自然科学基金委力学处詹世革处长和中心两位主任参加了揭牌仪式并致词😯。

在随后的国际力学与材料前沿研讨会邀请了哈佛大学教授James R. Rice、John Hutchinson分别作了题为Some mechanics and materials concepts applied to earth faults and ice sheets 、Wrinkling modes and instabilities in elastomer substrates and bilayers的报告🧜🏿‍♀️，卡内基梅隆大学校长Subra Suresh做了题为Mechanics of engineered and biological materials的报告，斯坦福大学的William D. Nix教授、中科院卢柯院士、哈佛大学锁志刚教授、国家自然科学基金委主任杨卫院士分别做了题为Size dependence of strength of metals🧑🏿‍🍼🧤、Materials with nano-scale twins☝🏿、Soft machines、Toughening simulation for metallic glasses的报告🅰️。

此次研讨会共有国内外数十所大学的60多为专家学者参加👝，杏福娱乐有数十位老师参加。我院学生也听取了这次研讨会👩‍👧。
